Our Location in West-End Ramona
A natural outdoor amphitheater carved into the hillside — open sky above, valley views below, and music that carries on the breeze.
Nestled into the hillside above our house, we have a natural amphitheater with a terraced seating area that offers nice views of the stage and the Ramona valley beyond. An adjacent shady area under a large oak tree provides a cool place for our potluck food tables. There is plenty of soft lighting for illuminating the paths and stage as the sun sets.

Parking
Parking is limited on the property. You can drive up through the gate, past the house and up the dirt road to the drop-off area by the travel trailer. After dropping off your chairs and food, please drive back down to park below the house or along the right (east) side of the street. If enough people will be coming, we will arrange a shuttle from the next-door neighbor's property, which has plenty of parking space.
Food & Drink
Bring what you want to drink and food to share. Water will be available on site. We will have a propane-powered warming tray to keep some food items in pots warm. Unfortunately, we do not have sufficient electricity at this site to run crock pots and electric warming trays.
What to bring
Bring a folding chair for each person. There will be a few spare chairs available too.
Accessibility
The amphitheater is on a slope with well-packed dirt trails. The drop-off point is at the travel trailer at the top of the amphitheater. Terraces have been cut into the hillside for your chairs. The food area is very level.
Restroom
The restroom and washbasins are located in our travel trailer at the upper part of the amphitheater. There is a ramp going up into the trailer.
Pets
We have a friendly Corgi who might greet you. Please contact us if you wish to bring your dog.
Getting here
16987 Quail Crossing, Ramona CA 92065
Take Highway 67 to Archie Moore Road (near the Mt Woodson Golf Club). Go on Archie Moore Road down the hill to Quail Crossing on your left. Take Quail Crossing up the hill to our gated entrance at 16987. Drive through the gate and up past the house, up a packed dirt driveway to the travel trailer. Drop off your chairs and food there and then drive back down past the house to find a parking spot near our garage or outside the gate along the street.
